These heavy-duty SlurryFlo trim components are made from 17-4 PH stainless steel plates and custom ring forgings. Freshly machined, theyโre now ready for a trip to the oven, where theyโll be heat treated to H900 condition.
Once the parts have cooled, a precision welding robot will apply a tungsten carbide overlay to all high-wear locations. Next up will be several hours on the grinding table to achieve nearly perfect metal-to-metal sealing surfaces.
The final step will be another round of CNC machining to complete the design, ensuring a perfect fit into the SlurryFlo Control Valve theyโll be installed into.
Itโs a lengthy manufacturing process, however, itโs marginal compared to how long these parts will withstand severe service!
