Variables such as revised flow conditions, changes to the process, new piping geometry, and valve relocation can significantly affect control valve behaviour. These complexities can be difficult to overcome and often require a completely new assembly. ๐ฌ
Fortunately, SAFโs patented SlurryFlo control valves have modular trim components that can be swapped out when things change. A revised trim essentially provides the client with a new valve at a fraction of the cost.
Pictured below is a โsingle-orificeโ seat plate being swapped to a โmulti-orificeโ design (on-site). The client now has all new control characteristics, without replacing the entire unit!
