Michel Leroux is the owner of Special Alloy Fabricators, and the Chairman at Carmela Industries Inc. (SAFโs parent company). Michel has been building and running successful valve companies since1979, always with a mindset of '๐ฑ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ.'
As a mechanical engineer and entrepreneur, Michel is passionate about developing technical solutions for end-users. A solution developed in 2004 required Michel to invent a new valve design for modulating abrasive slurries, saving a client significant downtime and production revenue.
Today, thousands of these valves operate in severe service applications worldwide (aka ๐ฆ๐น๐๐ฟ๐ฟ๐๐๐น๐ผ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐น ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฒ๐). Below is a photo of Michel with one of these solutions in production.
