These replacement seat plates will be installed into existing 20โ ANSI 300 SlurryFlo control valves. They are designed for throttling and flashing a specific liquid within the multi-phase fluid.
To provide maximum wear resistance against abrasive solids, the multi-hole trim geometry uses sintered carbide orifice inserts, with tungsten carbide overlay on both plate faces (front and back). Compared to other severe service applications, this one is in our top five most extreme cases.
Due to SlurryFloโs patented design, only the trim components are exposed to erosive flow. Once per year, our client will replace the valveโs trim (on site) and return the valve to service. This essentially provides a new valve at a fraction of the cost.
